How to Improve Snap-Stabilizing Point-to-Point Communication Space Complexity?

چکیده
A snap-stabilizing protocol, starting from any configuration, always behaves according to its specification. In this paper, we are interested in the message forwarding problem in a message-switched network in which the system resources must be managed in order to deliver messages to any processor of the network. To this end, we use the information provided by a routing algorithm. In the context of an arbitrary initialization (due to stabilization), this informationmay be corrupted. In Cournier et al. (2009) [1], we show that there exist snap-stabilizing algorithms for this problem (in the state model). This implies thatwe can request the system to begin forwardingmessageswithout losses even if routing information is initially corrupted. In this paper, we propose another snap-stabilizing algorithm for this problem which improves the space complexity of the one in Cournier et al. (2009) [1]. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Two snap-stabilizing point-to-point communication protocols in message-switched networks
A snap-stabilizing protocol, starting from any configuration, always behaves according to its specification. In this paper, we present a snap-stabilizing protocol to solve the message forwarding problem in a message-switched network. In this problem, we must manage resources of the system to deliver messages to any processor of the network. In this purpose, we use information given by a routing...
متن کاملSnap-Stabilizing PIF on Non-oriented Trees and Message Passing Model
Starting from any configuration, a snap-stabilizing protocol guarantees that the system always behaves according to its specification while a self-stabilizing protocol only guarantees that the system will behave according to its specification in a finite time. So, a snap-stabilizing protocol is a time optimal self-stabilizing protocol (because it stabilizes in 0 rounds). That property is very s...
متن کاملA Snap-Stabilizing DFS with a Lower Space Requirement
A snap-stabilizing protocol, starting from any arbitrary initial configuration, always behaves according to its specification. In [4], we presented the first snap-stabilizing depth-first search (DFS) wave protocol for arbitrary rooted networks working under an unfair daemon. However, this protocol needs O(N ) states per processors (where N is the number of processors) and needs ids on processor...
متن کاملCommon Fixed Point Results on Complex-Valued $S$-Metric Spaces
Banach's contraction principle has been improved and extensively studied on several generalized metric spaces. Recently, complex-valued $S$-metric spaces have been introduced and studied for this purpose. In this paper, we investigate some generalized fixed point results on a complete complex valued $S$-metric space. To do this, we prove some common fixed point (resp. fixed point) theorems usin...
متن کاملOrigami: Japanese Architecture and its Aesthetic Adaptability with the Western Theorists’ Point of View
In terms of specialized vocabulary, origami is a pattern with a fixed structure created by smooth folded surfaces. Today, the origami art pattern, or folded paper, has become a source of inspiration for architects, designers, and researchers. The definition of beauty in specialized lexicography includes the evolution of rational features, sounds, and concepts, and in a broader sense examines th...
